My name is Sylvia, I am a french-colombian artist and designer, living in Palma de Mallorca.

I have been a maker and a weaver since my childhood with a pronounced artistic vein, but I also have a mathematical, rational brain, with a taste for observation of our modes de vie. This led me to focus my career on Design and later in Art direction for the creative industries, fashion, and luxury sectors; a trade I have performed for 15+ years between Bogotá, Barcelona and Paris.

I have been a founder {Warmi} an Artist {Moiras} and a creative consultant for all kinds of brands from niche beauty Loto del Sur, to massive ones Nike or Louis Vuitton. This wide range of experiences have given me a deep knowledge of the market and the ability to understand first-hand the challenges facing a founder or any creative; and the importance of connecting with the deepest self to create value based on uniqueness and personality.

This I how I decided to found supersstudio, a creative office to accompany soulful brands and individuals in their creative journey, and also a laboratory to edit and create experimental projects in the continuation of what has always been the quest on my practice: to awaken sensibility and emotion towards materiality.

things that drive me

A fresh take on the world

I am cheerfully curious about the world, always keeping a bright eye on culture shifts and the way in which they shape our “modes de vie”. Looking at philosophy, traditional practices, new expressions in art & pop culture, poetry, essays, cinema, astrology, the weather, the stars! Going all-out to decode the whispers of our time.

Celebrating a material world

How we relate with material culture, how we come to bestow value on things; how beauty and emotion contribute to building a more conscious and sustainable world.

Honoring time

Time to make room for thought, for planning and accomplishment. Time to establish broad and lasting relationships with my clients, my collaborators and my lab projects; to provide the steady guidance that things need in order to thrive in the long run. I believe good things take time.

Making things

I celebrate the process of making; I enjoy experimentation, allowing accidents to light up new paths and being hands on across all our projects. I love to infuse my work with the breath of my atelier in Mallorca, brimming with colours, threads, smells, samples, books, paintings and inspiring thoughts… that allow me to cultivate a spirit of creative ebullience.
